CRS was formed in 2006 by the former senior management team of the Mid-Atlantic construction group of a publicly-traded global insurance brokerage firm. The premise to start CRS was founded on the principal to bring best-in-class risk management and brokerage capabilities to our clients, while shedding the institutional, “quarter to quarter” mentality of publicly-traded firms. CRS will not “trade-down” any client to a service center; each client partners with a team of leading industry experts.
Since our inception, CRS has continued to expand, in terms of clients as well as resources. In 2010, we added a real estate practice to complement our construction practice. We have also expanded our global capabilities through our partnership with the largest construction and real estate broker in Europe.
