THE CRS TEAM
William B. Chambers, CPCU
Executive Vice President
Bill Chambers is a senior account executive with over 30 years of insurance industry experience focusing on large casualty risks primarily in the construction industry. Bill has been instrumental in helping construction firms, from large national general contractors to prime subcontractors, develop cost-efficient solutions for transferring risk, ranging from setting up partial self-insured programs to establishing captive insurance companies.
Understanding the various phases of construction operations, including the means and methods that are employed, coupled with a keen interest in mechanical engineering has allowed Bill to design and build insurance programs for some of the ENR top 25 General Contractors and ENR Top 100 Specialty Contractors.
Bill has also worked with contractors who are building residential projects in challenging venues such as California and Florida, and created solutions for the insurance industry's latest coverage problem "Business Risk".
Bill's knowledge, education and experience has provided him with the tools to understand what is driving your insurance costs but also to be in a position to offer recommendations to drive down your cost of risk. Coordinating the resources of the CRS Team is Bill's responsibility to insure that our deliverables exceed clients' expectations.
Bill has a Bachelor Degree in Business and Finance from Roanoke College, is a Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter, and is also an active member of Associated Builders and Contractors and Associated General Contractors.
